A Valentine's Day Retreat

On this day dedicated to love, you are invited to be held and guided through reflections and inquiries about love, commitment, relationality, devotion, interdependence, and vows in the most expansive senses, including devotion and commitment to animals and the elements, botanical beings and invisible worlds, and love for existence itself, all creation.

Our contemplations today include vows and their renewals. "Vow" is at the root of vote: what are we dedicating ourselves to? Here we'll explore vowing as a practice of waking up every day to what we care about, an ethical invitation to compassion as our deepest heart's desire.

Our practices today include guided meditation, somatic awareness, writing, and dialogue.
